What file formats are supported?
CV Score accepts PDF files only. PDFs ensure consistent formatting and are the industry standard for professional documents. Both native text PDFs and scanned documents (via OCR) are supported.
How is my CV evaluated?
Your CV is analyzed against eight professional categories: Contact Information & Header, Professional Summary, Work Experience, Education & Qualifications, Skills & Competencies, Layout & Visual Design, Language & Communication, and Strategic Positioning & ATS Readiness. Each category is scored from 0-100, and 48 individual criteria feed into those scores.
Is the evaluation automated or manual?
The evaluation is fully automated using algorithms based on professional recruiter criteria. No human reviews your document during the evaluation process.
What happens to my CV after analysis?
Your CV is processed in an isolated environment and kept securely in your account so you can preview it and re-scan later. We never share it with third parties, and you can delete it, or your entire account, anytime from account settings.
